Meet Sierra
Sierra has become the enterprise standard for AI customer agents — SiriusXM, Sonos, ADT and Chime among them. Co-founded by Bret Taylor, former co-CEO of Salesforce and chair of OpenAI's board.
- ~40% of the Fortune 50 reported as customers
- Late 2025 — partnership launched; trained side by side since
- ~30 storage journeys live today, each ending in an action
The choice was deliberate. An industry that has never had access to AI of this caliber now runs on the same foundation as the Fortune 50.
It doesn't sit alongside your systems. It sits on top of them.
Sierra provides the reasoning and the conversation. StoreEase, drawing on its own experience operating facilities, knows which storage journeys matter and how to train for them. EaseOS then lets the agent actually act.
Sierra brings
- The reasoning and the conversation
- One agent across phone, web and lobby
- Enterprise-grade reliability
- The same context and rules everywhere
EaseOS adds
- Journeys drawn from operating real facilities
- Layers over your FMS, gate and payments
- Guardrails built into every action
- Runs under your brand and your name
Why this matters at 9pm
Every operator sells the same box of air. Service is what separates them — and for most of this industry's history, service was capped by staffing.
Before: Voicemail. Call back during office hours. Most never do.
After: Rented, on the call. Unit assigned, payment taken, gate code issued.
An automation rate tells you nothing.
Too many AI agents claim to automate or contain a conversation when all they really do is deflect it to the office or a callback — keeping the customer from an answer without solving the problem. We count the finish instead.
- AI “Resolution” → Verified payment made
- Call “Answered” → Customer satisfied
- Rental “Completed” → Leases signed
And we price it the same way. Rather than charging on what it thinks the AI is doing, StoreEase prices the agent on the outcomes it produces — results delivered, not every phone call it answers.
Close to 30 journeys. Every one ends in an action.
- Monthly payments
- Late fees & liens
- Gate access codes
- Overlock release
- Live unit availability
- Move-out requests
- Insurance questions
- End-to-end rentals
Each one an enforced workflow — account access gated behind real authentication, with the facility management system always the final word.
“An automation rate tells you the AI avoided a human. It tells you nothing about whether the customer was helped.”
Josh Boyd · CEO, StoreEase
Change a policy once. It lands everywhere.
An agent is only as good as the rules behind it. Updating those rules is a workflow, not a rebuild.
- Operators change the rule. A late-fee window, a lien step, a promotion.
- The workflow is updated. Edited and tested against real call transcripts.
- Live on every channel. Phone, web and lobby — the same day.
This is the part staffing never solved: train one employee and hope it sticks, or update the agent and know it did.
Results on both sides of the ledger
After-hours calls that once ended in voicemail now convert directly. Meanwhile, more facilities are supported with fewer people per site.
1.4× longer stays than the industry norm. Longer tenancy pushes lifetime value to nearly double the industry norm — hundreds of thousands of dollars across a portfolio.
2–3% additional move-ins — entirely from calls placed in the hours nobody was covering, which used to hit voicemail.
Customer reviews
4.8 before launch → 4.8 after rollout. Flat is the win. Reviews held steady through the entire rollout — the metric StoreEase watches most closely.

EaseOS plugs into the management, access control and payment systems you already run. Most operators see the agent working in their business in as little as two weeks.
